Welcome to Moose Jaw

The Northern Gateway to Southwest Saskatchewan, Moose Jaw invites you to stay a while and enjoy our many events and attractions. Allow plenty of time and plan to return often because there is always lots to see and do in "The Friendly City".

You're never far from the tranquility of parks and the green space they provide even in the heart of the city. Moose Jaw abounds with restful park settings and whether you prefer the manicured perfection of Crescent Park or the more natural groomed surroundings of the river valley parks you won't be disappointed with what you will find here.

Moose Jaw's historic architecture has always fascinated visitors and now this atmosphere is enhanced with the addition of 36 colorful murals that adorn downtown buildings. For information on guided tours and mural locations call 693-8097. Brochures for self guided historic walking tours of the area are available from the Moose Jaw Art Museum in Crescent Park or call 692-4471.

The Temple Garden Mineral Spa invites you to relax at Saskatchewan's newest, hottest attraction. Moose Jaw is home to 431 Squadron, the Canadian Military Aerobatics Team better know as the Snowbirds. Their annual performance at the Saskatchewan Airshow in July thrills thousands of visitors at 15 Wing Moose Jaw.

Not far from the military base on Hwy. #2 South you will find the Sukanen Ship & Pioneer Village Museum. Explore the ship and the museum's collection of antique buildings, machinery, furniture and equipment. Call 693-3506 for information.

Moose Jaw provides plenty of opportunity for shoppers. Enjoy a stroll throughout historic downtown while browsing in its many shops. Visit Saskatchewan's largest craft mall "Lasting Impressions" or the City Square Shopping Mall. The Town N' Country Mall located on Main Street N. houses over 50 stores and services from which to choose.

If local history is your interest, don't forget to take a guided tour with The Tunnels of Moose Jaw.
