Cross Country Skiing is a popular winter activity in Moose Jaw. During the months of December, January and February, Moose Jaw Parks and Recreation maintains three cross-country skill trails. Access to the trail is located next to the speed skating oval on River Drive in Wakamow Valley. Each trail is a different length with the green trail at 1.75 km, the blue trail at 4.0 km and the red trail at 7.5 km. Each trail is complemented by the scenic beauty of Wakamow Valley and
utilizes the hills and trees to produce groomed trails. There is no charge for the use of these trails.
