Weed Control Program
West Nile Virus
The control and management of weeds, pests and other harmful plant material is an integral component of the Parks and Recreation Department green space maintenance program. A comprehensive spraying program to control noxious weeds is implemented in the spring and fall of each year, and throughout the year as required. Integrated pest management is also part of our spraying program.
