The City of Moose Jaw is the sole developer of raw land for residential and most commercial and industrial uses within City limits. As the primary developer, the City must identify market demand, survey, subdivide and zone raw land for development.
The Land Administration Branch is responsible for the identification and documentation of future residential, commercial and industrial lands for the annual preparation of a Five Year Land Development Plan, together with the City of Moose Jaw's annual land development program. The Land Administration Branch is also responsible for the leasing of City owned property including commercial property, billboard sites, farm land, hay and pasture lands).
